If you're looking for a Greek holiday that combines beaches, fabulous food, luxury and genuinely warm service, Grecotel is a name worth knowing.

With 40 hotels and resorts across 15 Greek destinations, Grecotel offers something for every type of traveller, and it's easy to see why so many of my clients love them, from stunning locations and beautiful beaches to fantastic food, personal service and that perfect balance of luxury without feeling too formal.

One client stayed at LUX ME Kos last year and loved it so much she's heading back to a Grecotel property in Rhodes soon, and honestly, that's typical of how clients feel once they've tried them.

I recently had the chance to visit three Grecotel resorts in Crete - LUX ME White, Creta Palace and Caramel - and each one has its own personality.

LUX ME White

This was the hotel I stayed at, and it really impressed me. Set beside a beautiful stretch of Cretan coastline, it has that effortless white and blue Mediterranean feel you dream of when booking a Greek island escape. The LUX ME concept makes everything easy, with an impressive choice of restaurants, drinks, snacks and activities all included.

For me, the dining was a real standout, a fantastic choice of flavours and cuisines, and the setting makes those long, relaxed holiday meals even more enjoyable. Families are also very well catered for, with plenty to keep children entertained, allowing parents a little relaxation too.

Creta Palace

As you can see in my video, this hotel is set on a stunning beach, which is the longest one in Crete, and is also surrounded by beautiful gardens.

It's a great choice for families and couples alike, with a combination of pools, including a new aquapark, dining, activities and family facilities. It's also within walking distance of Rethymno, with its Venetian Harbour that comes alive at night with markets, restaurants and bars.

It's the kind of resort where you can happily spend the whole day enjoying everything on-site, or head out and explore a little of Crete.

Caramel

This is an elegant, stylish hotel with a boutique feel, close to Rethymno. It combines a beachfront setting with lush gardens, sophisticated design and a more intimate atmosphere.

For me, this is one to consider if you're looking for something a little more indulgent and romantic. All the suites and villas are unique, offering privacy and elegance with a mix of antique and modern furniture.

Agreco Farm

Something not to miss, and my highlight, is a visit to Agreco Farm, Grecotel's own organic farm and taverna in the beautiful Cretan countryside.

The farm-to-table concept celebrates traditional Cretan cuisine, using fresh, organic produce and local ingredients to create an authentic taste of Crete. Depending on your chosen hotel and meal plan, you can enjoy a tour of the farm before sitting down to an incredible meal in a spectacular setting.

There's something very special about seeing where the ingredients come from and then experiencing them on your plate. It feels authentic, relaxed and very much connected to the island.

Three resorts, three different personalities, but all offering that same Grecotel attention to detail. Add in a visit and meal at Agreco Farm, and you get to enjoy not just a beautiful hotel, but a genuine taste of Crete itself.

Whether you're looking for family fun, a beautiful beach, fantastic food, luxury or simply somewhere special to relax, there's a Grecotel that could be just right for you and your loved ones - contact me to help you find it.
